Unhappy Bubble Nest

My male betta made a bubble and is looking like he really wants to get to my female betta but I don't want to breed them. They are in the same tank with a divider? Should I be worried?

No, no need to worry. Just because he's making a bubblenest, doesn't mean he needs to breed.

Yup, what DQ said. You might want to lower the water level a little bit because females and males can jump easily. Some people put mesh on top of the divider so their fish can't jump out or onto the side of the other fish.
