Low PH

Nope, don't need help lowering it haha and I also know that a PH being a little off is safer than trying to fight with adjusting it...

I just wanted to make sure there are no long term adverse effects of having a slightly lower PH. I guess 7 is ideal? mine usually runs 6-6.5 naturally, I don't use anything to adjust it. And I have some IAL on the way to help my three guys with *tail issues.

Would that be fine?

I know some people holding them with pH of 8ish, and some with pH of 6ish, I would say you're fine~

Actually the lower end pH (6.5 ish) is like the ideal for Bettas.. I wouldn't go lower than that though.. I think 6.5-7 is the perfect pH for bettas... but they adjust so well that it really doesn't matter (unless its insanely high or low)

Alright well when the IAL comes in I'll be sure to test the PH after adding them to make sure it isn't too low.

My tap pretty much runs 6.5 hehehe I'm lucky :D
