Ooooh boy...

I went to buy a Greyhound ticket today, because I'm visting my family in Windsor next week for new years. Well, even though Greyhound is one of the cheapest methods of transport around, they still jacked up the prices! I was left with no money. Grrrr...

Which is just as well, because I went to Big Al's after, and they had just restocked with the most amazing batch of bettas! Tons of orange dalmations, orange dalmation mixes, pineapples, HMs...even saw a purple crowntail! And they had a bunch of butterfly bettas! There was a blueish-green VT butterfly with a black and piebald face that I wanted BADLY.

When i get money next week, I'll pop in on Tuesday. REALLY hope he's still there, though I doubt it-he was too pretty!

So if you guys ever need something to prevent you from buying a betta, get a bus ticket!

Lol! That's horrible though. We go into NYC on the train and they hiked their prices up also. I hope you get that betta, he sounds gorgeous!

Thanks! I'm crossing my fingers-they had two butterfly HMs as well!

Seriously! I take Greyhound because it's the cheapest way to travel, but now that they've raised the prices, I can buy a train ticket for only about $20 more! It used to be a huge difference, but not I don't see why I shouldn't take the train as it's more comfortable and faster.

Yeah you should check into the train thing. Prices for everything are just ridiculous.

Ooh! I've never been to a specialty pet store, just Petco, Petsmart, Zamzows and Walmart. Yeah. Can I come with you?!!!

Never heard of Zamzows before. But Petco has got some gorgeous bettas! I wish we had it over here. This store normally sells VTs, but occasionally gets 'fancy' bettas in. :)
