Question Too many eggs?

Drina's egg belly is HUGE like WAAAAY too big for her body.
Can having too many eggs hurt her? She looks like she is about to pop....

They'll hurt her only if she becomes egg bound but I've read that this is rare. She should release them or reabsorb them.

Do you have a pic? and she looks equal on both sides... are you sure it is eggs and not bloat or dropsy, scale are not sticking out like a pine cone? or she is not constipated, no problems swimming or anything. appetite okay?

I agree with dramaqueen, as long as she is not egg bound and this is rare...she will either drop the eggs and eat them or not or absorb them without issues.....

As long as she is healthy and kept in quality water, not over fed, having regular bowl movements, no swimming problems she should be just fine....I have females that look like they will pop any minute and they look so un comfy that I feel sorry for them but as long as no male is present and the eggs do not ripen they should be fine....

It isn't dropsy or constipation. She is swimming fine.

Glad she'll be okay. Wasn't sure, it just looks uncomfy.
