Well my tank had a huge blow up of Blue green algae. Not enough nitrates boo!! I treated my tank with maracyn and killed the bloom in about 5 days. I didnt realize how much there was because when I woke up, There was dead algae EVERYWHERE. I couldnt even vac it up with my hose. So I tore down my tank and started something else that will be 10 times easier to maintain but still looks great!

I'll Post pictures tonight but Im only going with iwagumi layout! (Rock pattern) And only using Hairgrass and Japonica. Something along the line of this!

Ok so its set up but it doesnt look like much now! Its very clean look and I added some Micro Sword. It looks very sparse in the picture but theres actually a lot of plants haha. I'll do weekly pictures to show the growth of my plants!

No fish yet! Getting Lots of cherry shrimp (My buddy breeds fish and sells me these for only 80cents each!!) But not untill the plants grow or I somehow get a crappy algae problem

Just added 15 cherry red shrimp in my tank. Very peaceful shrimp and will sit on my rocks and just gaze haha its cute. Got very lucky. A buddy I know breeds fish everything and gave me 15 cherry shrimp for 10 bucks! They sell for 4 dollars each at my fav petshop haha

Very nice tank. The rocks are neat and a nice replacement for the driftwood you had prior. I must say, also, that I'm quite jealous of your cherry shrimp - I went to 4 pet stores within a reasonable distance of where I live and not one carried anything but ghost shrimp which I think are ugly and wont buy.

Kittles that sucks for sure!! I dont wanna rub anything else in but I got 4 Black bee shrimp today also haha! Those go for $15 EACH but I got them for $3 each! I got the hook ups :D
