new boy and hi from the gang

My little blue and white boy wedgewood died 2 weeks ago :( I couldn't stand the empty tank spot in my room, so I've been checking Petco/Petsmart regularly. They had such pretty fish! There was a red/white dragon delta, a lemon yellow crowntail, and the most adorable red/white cambodian girl. But, I walked into petco this morning and there was this guy


There were two more blue and orange guys, and they were much brighter, but not as spunky, cute or big :)
So now he's mine! Say hello to Chief Illiniwek!




I'm hoping he'll brighten up a little with some warm, clean water and a good diet. We'll see! So far he's fairly active. He and his tankmate Elmo are best friends....

i thought he was just orange and blue, as two others from his shipment were. well, they were lighter blue and brighter orange. were they mustard gas, too?

It's just the name of his coloration.
