YAY!!!!! Planted tanks!!! FINALLY! (lotsa pics)

I got home and did water changes and was finally able to put the driftwood and plants in my tank. I had enough to do my 10 and 4 gallon tanks!!!

excuse the bridge.. this piece of wood isn't completely water logged apparently so the bridge is holding it down.

Here's a break down of the plants:
Fish's side-
-Dwarf Sag (I believe thats what the grass is)
-1 Amazon Sword
-1 Apon

Blue Jeans' side-
-Dwarf Sag
- Water wisteria (I think thats what the parsley looking plant is?)
-1 small apon
-1 java fern (which I think could be divided but I'm not sure)

Demetri's tank-
-Dwarf Sag
- This stuff... Frogbit???


Demetri also has 2 plastic plants in there until I can get some more plants.

I really am liking the look of the 10 but I want to cover the back a little more. I might try a back drop or I might just get some tall plants. I also want to do a small carpet in the front so any suggestions are welcome.

Demetri's tank is a work in progress. Since the plants are in gravel we'll see how they do compared to the plants in the eco complete. I would like to put an amazon sword, some java ferns, and some floating java moss in that tank as well.

I'm gonna let the 10 gallon sit for a week and then I'm going to get some ghost shrimp (4 for each side). Hopefully a few will survive.

DH.. I think so too.. I love the look of the tank now. I think a few more plants and it will be all but perfect I can't wait to get my shrimp!

BFC.. you know there is a Connecticut Betta Club? Maybe you could become a member and possibly get some stuff. I got all my plants and driftwood for free (except the amazon sword and java fern which I bought myself). Someone was cleaning house and wanted to get rid of the driftwood and the president of the club just gave me a bunch of plants because I told him I was looking to buy plants for my tank. Its not just about getting stuff either.. I really had fun at my first meeting and I'm so excited for the show I'm counting the days :D
