My new lil guy... what kind is he?

OK, so I was not meaning to get a new fish. I went into walmart to get Terence some silk plants for his tank and I saw that they had a lot of new bettas in so I thought it wouldn't hurt to look. Well they had a lot of awesome crowntails but in the very back I fell in love with this guy. I am not sure what type he is maybe feather tail. I also can not figure out his color. He is just gorgeous though. He was in very gross water and they put way too much food in his bowl. It also looks like he has a little bit of a ripped fin and he seems pretty stressed right now.

I am going to turn a 10 gallon into a divided home for both of my boys very soon. Until then Terence will be in his 1 gal and the new guy will be in a 2 gal.

Here are some pics of my boy right after I got home. I had to get him out of the yucky water really fast. I felt so bad for him. He still does not have a name but we were thinking maybe Steel because he looks almost silver. Any suggestions???

He's very pretty!! He may be a copper but someone else will have to say for sure.

Very nice! He almost looks like a copper dragon to me. Have you seen him flare yet? its possible he is a Delta or HM but tail types are hard to guess when they aren't flaring. It looks like he has a lot of re-growing damage to his fin.. giving it the feathery appearance. If you look closely you can see the clear ends where the new growth is.

Yeah, I figured there was a little damage to his tail. Poor lil guy.

Thanks and yes it was walmart. To tell you the truth I almost had a heart attack. He was the only one like him there so I told the hubby I had to have him. My hubby now thinks I am addicted. I will post some other pics in a minute.
