Does he look bloated?

Eating fine, acting fine, but seems bloated. He always looks a little bloated, especially after a few pellets. But he seems more bloated today. His excrement seems fine. Today he did have a clear string coming from him though... I didn't see what the rest of it looked like. Thoughts??

nope.

BTW, the water is a little yellow because I have IAL in there - it's not dirty!! I just cleaned it yesterday (80% change).

Also, I have been feeding him garlic soaked pellets for the last 2 weeks-ish.

Sometimes he misses his pellets and they sink before he gets to them. And he likes to pretend he's a cory and scrounge at the bottom. I am wondering if he found a couple of extra pellets and ate those?

He does look a little bloated. I would fast him for a couple days until the swelling goes down.

Here's another pic.

When do I start feeding again? How do I know it's not parasites? His poo is kind of coated in something clear, but it's not stringy or anything, and there's still the brown inside. He's always been bloated looking since I got him, so this is really nothing different. Are some more prone to bloating more easily than others?

Hmm clear poop isn't a good thing, that usually means parasites. But, I would still fast him for a couple days and if it doesn't come down at all, than it could be parasites.

I am going into day 3 today... i tried to feed him a pea last night but it sunk before he got to it. I think he might have eaten one of the pieces from the floor though.

what should i do? if it is parasites - what can I do? He is in his own 2.5 thankfully, but I do use the same siphon etc on him that i use on the other tanks.

sigh.
