Proper way to Treat for minor fin damage due to fighting?

What's the proper way to help female bettas torn fins heal due to fighting?

Daily water changes of 50-100% depending on if in QT or not, lot of fresh clean water is one of the best medications IMO/E....
When deep or really bad I will add 1tsp/gal aquarium salt and oak leaves or IAL along with daily water changes...healing should be noted in 3-5 days.....full regrowth takes longer and fins may never look the same....
