what does algee look like when it is on the tank walls of a glass tank?

kinda like green slime.. or brown slime if you have a diatom problem.

I don't think so. The only thing about it is that it's unsightly, I believe.

nope its not bad for the fish at all. if you don't like the look you can get some ghost shrimp or a snail or even a few corys if you have a big enough tank. If your tank is little you just have to scrub it off
