Reason i ask, is because yesterday when i put some salt in my sorority house, the water was slightly foggy and was a little bit this morning. I just got home and the water is almost crystal clear. How did that happen haha
Well I never heard of that... maybe the fogginess just went away? Sometimes it just does that. Nothing says on the box that it cleans water, does it? (I don't have it with me right now).
Well a c cording to some book that I read cloudy water can actually be caused by a bacterial bloom (which can happen in a tank with no ammonia, or nitrite) and seeing as how salt has antibacterial porperties it would make sense to assume that the salt killed the bacteria.
I would do a water test though you have no idea what caused the bloom or whether the sudden die off of bacteria compromised the water quality.
