Algae issue

Hey guys. I noticed an outbreak of algae in my 10 gallon. I did a full water change and washed all decorations and gravel out. Now its been about 2 weeks since the change and its back What can I do? I was thinking of completely changing the gravel. I still have like half a bag of ravel left. I was just gonna swap that with the gravel in tank. Will that do anything? Also the tank isnt in direct sunlight. Thanks.

Is there some kind of water cleaner you can use?

Its green. My tank was cycled with seachem stability and the water conditioner I use is seachem prime.

I had blue/green hairy algae in my tank and I started breaking up the light cycle in the middle of the day for an hour and reduced the overall light time to about 9 hours. I haven't seen it since. I've also heard that Flourish Excel can help keep algae down. And make sure you're not overfeeding at all. Extra nutrients in the tank will help algae grow.
