Question flaring females?

ok well i wanted to change the water in pyramis' tank so i floated him in a betta cup in thisbe's tank to keep warm while i clean and the water heats,,,he's been very interested in her (they flirt through the glass of their tanks but what i noticed was that thisbe didnt look too much like a female when she was flaring more like a male plakat though she's still smaller then most plakats but still growing @ the same time but then again i havent seen alot of females flare so i took some pix to see what you guys think and it would also help if you guys post pix of your females flaring for me to compare

Hmm....she reeeeeeaaally looks like my male babies to be honest, her ventrals are fuller then any of my adult females.....and most of my male babies flare JUST like that, and bar up.....if she is still small, I'm going to have to say 'she' is a young 'he'.
Fins are too long for a PK though, probably just a young VT, maybe delta....

Out of pure curiosity.....that black and yellow fish in the background of the last picture.... what is it? Is it real? Its cool looking.

I didn't even notice taht fish until DragonFish pointed it out...is it a Bumblebee Goby?

I think she's female too, she looks like she has a pretty big egg spot. My female Aigis flared like that at my other females.

she's a female :) there's a white egg spot on her belly. she's BEAUTIFUL! my females that i have right now don't seem to flare that much, but my previous one that i had was a sassy lil beast, she flared all the time.
