Question Are silk plants from stores okay??

Are silk plants from stores like micheals, dollor tree, walmart okay to put in a fish tank?? They look and feel exactly like the ones from stores like petco/petsmart.

Most plants that aren't marketed towards aquatic use are acceptable as long as they don't bleed or contain wire.

If you wanted to play it really safe, I'd like it soak for days (or however long, at least a day) in dechlorinated hot water and stuff. But that's just me...I may try that someday, who knows.

As long as it doesn't have things like sparkles or perfumes, they should be okay. Make sure to cut out any wire that's in the plant, though!
