pop eye??

something is wrong with my bettas eye :( ... it happened over night because he was fine yesterday? is this popeye or something elese? please help .. his other eye is fine

yup.. looks like pop eye to me. I've never dealt with it before so I don't know how to treat but you can search through the forum for old threads.

I would use Maracyn to treat popeye.

i think i will try to iso him and give him some time with salt and fresh water everyday to see if that helps. thanks guys.

i cant edit my post for some reason but i ment to say do you think I can try to iso him with salt and super clean water (change everyday) instead of using chems

The popeye needs medication if you have been doing the water changes correctly, there is something (can't remember exactly what) back behind the eye and it bascially pushes it out, eventually he will lose the eye. Use the medication on him very strictly, and he should be fine.

well now im screwed! and so is my fish

i can't use medications for personal reasons. All I can do is move him to an empty 6g and treat with aquariam salt and very clean water.
