Betta is doing some odd things, should I worry?

I just got him yesterday and he is so full of energy. I don't know if I should worry about some of the things he does though. I'm not sure if they're warning signs for some sort of disease or what have you. (I'm a newbie) Anyways this is what he's doing, I just put him in his new tank this afternoon:

-He swims near the glass and wiggles as if he's trying to escape the tank. But it doesn't appear as if he's running into the glass for the sole purpose of ramming into it.

-He swims back and forth under the heater I have stuck to the wall. ( it doesn't seem like he's trying to rub his scales or anything but I can't be sure)

-He still eats like normal, doesn't spend a lot of time at the bottom of the tank, and is relatively active. But what he spends a lot of his time doing, when I'm around the tank at least, is wiggle near the glass in a rapid motion.

Should I be concerned? Or is he just a healthy happy betta that's exploring his new home?

Thanks for any help. :)

I wouldn't worry . He just needs to get used to his new home. He's prob happy he's got more room to swim.

I sure hope he's alright.
Here's a picture of him. He has a few white bumps on his head but I don't know if they are anything to worry about.

Mine always wriggles against glass to get to me, I wouuldn't worry about it. Just make sure it's not ramming, and it should be a-okay :)

He calmed down since this posting, I was worried because he was trashing about quite violently at times. I think he was just getting acclimated to his new environment. He does however have small patches behind each fin on either side in which his scales are slightly disgruntled. They weren't like that before I moved him. Could this just be a temporary symptom of stress?

The patches are behind the fins behind his gills(i don't know what they're called, still a newb. haha) but they look black but it isn't solid black. They don't look ripped but they weren't there when I put him in.

It's probably color change. My red betta has it completely red, then completely clear. I don't think it's any symptom of stress though.

Yeah, I think it's just color change. But I'll keep an eye on it. :)
