Talking New Betta. But what is he? =]

He was labeled as a fancy male. But i have never seen a male betta like this in a pet store before. I normally just see the basic blue males or crown tail males. He is cool looking though =]

He looks as if he may be a DT.

He's a VT with just a little fin damage. Should heal in no time.

Cool coloring!

It's the little nip out of his caudal fin. When it heals, he'll be a gorgeous veil tail!

he is in a 2.5gal by himself ( no filter ). i plan to do 100% changes every 2 days. So besides the fin damage he looks healthy right? I mean i am not new the bettas, just this one is really really cool looking and i wanna make sure he is healthy =]

I do 100% changes twice a week on my two gallons. But, if you want to change it more, that is fine! Clean water is great for fish!

He DOES look a little chubby, you could not feed him for a few days so he slims down.
