Help help! Does my betta have ich?!

Here are some pictures. He has some white dots on his head but they do not appear to me as ones I've seen of actual ich. Also he has some odd black or messed up scales behind his fins.

The first picture is of his head and the second is the best I can get of his side. He's moving around a lot.

Please help, thank you.

from the pics its hard to see BUT i think those dots are too faded for ich. are his scales white or does he look like he has sugar stuck to him?

No, there aren't any white scales and the bumps are just on his head, it doesn't look like sugar though. He's making very flashy and erratic movements though. Could that be due to the fact that he's just been moved to a new tank?

with fast and eratic movements; does it look like he's being pinched or bitten? does he rub off things sometimes? if so its ich alright.
Id add meds and turn up temp to about 84 degrees (NOTE; ich takes a few days - 1 week or more to clear) and dont forget to add the meds after water changes!

I can't tell if he's being bitten or pinched or not. He's making the fast and erratic movements near the tank walls like he's trying to escape, but other times he'll just swim around and hang out for a few minutes. He swims back and forth under the heater sometimes too but I can't tell if he's doing it to scratch but when he does nothing comes off.

If it is ich how long do I have before he could kill my betta? And with the meds can I treat it with him still in the tank?

I think he might also be seeing his reflection in the glass. This could cause him to go nuts right?

Problem is he's doing it constantly. I've noticed the only time he thrashes about and makes flashy movements is when he's at one particular level of the tank. If he had ich wouldn't he be thrashing about no matter where he was if he was i pain? He'll move to that level of the tank (where I think he can see his reflection), swim along that line of sight, and go nuts. I worry that he'll stress himself out if that's what's actually going on. I don't want him to be constantly trying to fight his reflection simply because he can see it all the time. Maybe he'll get used to it being there...hmmm.

If he doesn't, try adding more plants.
