Bettas and Teleivions

Someone said that Bettas like to people watch. Has anyone ever tried putting a tank in front of a TV to see what the betta does? Does he watch TV? Or does he pretty much ignore it, like my cat does?

plus why would you want your betta exosed to all that violence and degradation of women on TV.


Seriously, never tried it but I am doubtful they would be able to see it... tell us how it goes!

I don't think they'll be interested in the TV. I think they're more interested in us, the people who happen to feed them, lol . Plus the TV doesn't play with them. But you know, I'm not sure either.

I don't have a stand by the TV for him to see :P But I imagine he can hear. Right now, "we're" watching the Might Morphing Power Rangers (the original series XD).

I was watching Marty Stouffer's Wild America and he looking out of one side of his tank while it was on as if he was watching it. Hehehe!!!

I used to have a betta, Claude, that i put on my desk next to my laptop. He seemed really interested whenever I went on Youtube, especially wheen I watched Betta-related videos. He'd try to swim out of his tank to get closer, lol.

Ironic, our parents used to say that to us, and yet we sit not even 2 ft away from a computer monitor :P
