They Are Like Potato Chips!

I now have two more Bettas!

Achilles - Blue Mustard Gas - EEEEE!!!! This is one of my favorite color combos so when I saw him I HAD to get him! Naturally I had to name him after my favorite character! He's not as feisty as my others... he likes exploring.

And.. then I saw this guy....

His fins are a Coral pink color and his body is a lighter coral pink and he has red spotting and blue highlights as well as half blue eyes. O.o Anyone have a particular name for his color? His color is a little brighter and pinker than in the photos but for some reason it wouldn't photograph that well. :/

I decided to name him after one of my favorite Roman Emperors, Nero. Mainly because he's pretty and seems to love to show off in the front of the tank!

http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/z...Khan/nero7.jpg -- pretty large photo but shows his light blue highlights well

Nero Kiss!

Those fish are adorable! It's true about bettas being like potato chips, I got 1 betta a year ago in a small tank, and now I have 4 bettas and wanting more!

Oooh they're both very pretty. And the second one is an orange/peach dalmatian. My absolute favorite color pattern :) he looks like my late Cash. I would love to get another one of those.

Thanks everyone! I've planted the 10 gallon that Nero's in and he is LOVING it! He's exploring all over the place. The Fern I planted in Achilles little tank has already produced babies and is almost too big for the tank! I'm thinking I'm going to have to plant that one in the big tank and let the babies grow up in the small one until they are old enough to be sold.

I feel bad Achilles is in a smaller than a ten gallon tank and I think next time I have a bit more cash or one comes up on craigslist (<3) I'm going to have to get him a larger one!
