Hey, I am Jenny, and I am new(: Well, not new to bettas, I have had a few in a lifetime.
Oscar- red VT, Bertha- blue PK, Enigma- pastel VT, Spore- blue VT, I gave away oscar and bertha, RIP to enigma and Spore.
So now that I have moved in to my Dad's, I wanted to get a new little finned friend.
I am leaning toward a Black CT if I could possibly find one.
That is my betta fantasy lol
or any perfect black betta really
If anyone sells quality bettas around the Peedee area of SouthCarolina, I would appriciate some info... before I go to petco, where I am guarenteed to buy one :3

Hi Jenny, welcome :) A pure black betta sounds beautiful. I saw a black betta at Petco with bright blue trimmings, he was my second choice. Glad I got my Lockheed tho :D

I think there is an SC betta breeders club (don't know how close it would be to you). I couldn't say if they would have any black fish as pure black fish with little/no irridescence is really hard to find.

I suppose if you had the money you might find one on Aquabid.

ETA... I was mistaken.. there is no SC club... but if your willing to make a weekend of it you could come on down to Perry, GA for a fish show on May 1st. There will be an auction and fish starting at $3 (show quality). ;) ;)
