Her Eye and Side!!

Okay, I was checking on my females today and I notice something odd. Iris, my royal blue VT female, has a puffed out eye, and a huge sore on her side. But all the other females are doing okay in the tank. Could one of the fish slammed against her? I will get a picture as soon as possible.

Sounds like it might be popeye which I've read is treatable. There was a recent thread with someone whose fish had it, and it seems to be recovering nicely.

The original poster provided pictures, so you'll be able to compare your fish's condition. As well, a number of treatments are suggested in the following comments which should benefit you.

As for the side wound, I have no idea what it may be. If you're able, try and get a picture of it so that others may find a cause.

Okay, she has popeye. I am trying to get a picture, but she won't stay still.

Are the females in the same tank together? I've read that popeye is mostly caused by the fish fighting, they go for their eyes first. Have you ever seen her getting picked on by the other females? She could've gotten the sore from them picking on her. Do you have a spare tank? I'd keep her in that for now until you figure out what's wrong.

Yes, she is housed with Ruby, Sky, and Pinky. If I remember correctly, when I first put her in the tank, Ruby and Iris didn't get a long very well. I have already separated her from the others.

I keeping looking at and I notice and injury below her eye. Could that have caused her eye to be bulgy?

the wound below her eye could have yes, because pop eye doesn't show any thing other than the bloated eye, possible one of the other females went hormonal and attacked.

Thank you everyone for all those who helped....But I have an update!!! I went to check on Iris and she was missing. I asked my mom and my sister butted in and said "She was dead so I flushed her." I became devastated. T_T
