Question deco help!!!!

my fish's tank is so utterly boring. my fish seems to be depressed and sulks about the tiny tank. pleeeeeaaaaaase help! it is a three-hour drive to the nearest pet store. i was wondering if the plastic kid-toys have any bad chemicals that would kill or hurt my fish.

Wow, 3 hours??!! I thought 40 minutes for me was a lot.lol You can add coffee mugs to the tank for hiding places or buy terracotta pots. A couple people on here make their own rock caves if you love crafts. I'm not sure about your kids toys. Short hamster tubes are good too.

You could order online from a store's website. Or scour the mountains - maybe there's a nice piece of wood you could submerge (even though I know you're supposed to avoid certain types. Which? I dont know.)

With toys, I don't see how they could be a problem if they were sterile, didn't contain metal or fragrances, and didn't bleed color.
