Talking Update for those who know about Peter

I have FINALLY found a diet that works for Peter and i and does not cause poor peter to swell like a balloon. He can no longer have anything hard, but i have been experimenting and found what suits him :D. He can have 2 presoaked pellets twice a day for the 1st days and then on the 3rd day one FD BW ( so he gets a treat :D ) and then the cycle begins again =]. Also side questions. My bettas HATE that "natural" floating betta log. Like they thrash at em, flare at em and nip at em. What a waste of money lol i heard so much good about these also! So they will just have to live with floating fake plants to rest in until i found something else. Anyone else have trouble with their bettas and those floating logs? Well i FINALLY found something that gets my halfmoon to flare LOL

That is great. My boy Tito has a bloating issue also and I need to figure out the best foods for him. I do not feed him a lot at all but he still tends to bloat.

it took me a little over a week to finally figure out the right diet, but it is worth it when you do!

That's good you found a solution.
I'm very happy about that for you.
I just need to keep my betta from biting the ADF's head off --which means constant tank monitoring.

Hey guys
ADF'S what r these?
Hey Darthmaul my fellow star wars fan.
Does anyone have a pic of bloating so I know what it looks like.
Ackbar is a freaking pig he only eats some of his flakes and spits out most and he hates the pellets He wont touch em even if I soak them for 1/2 hour.
but my friend gave me some smaller pellets apparently betta's can eat em and he loves them that and bloods worms. But I try not to feed him blood worms cuz I heard they can cause constipation. I'm going to try brine shrimp next.
I'm a new betta owner. I thought I was gonna get a low maintenance pet but now I'm obsessed about making him happy and full of life.
I have learned that Ackbar can be territorial but for the most part he is a gentle little guy and he is very social he loves to come to the front of the glass and hangout with me. It is almost like he can understand me he likes it when I talk to him.

this is the mild case of bloating...
