Ok, I thought that Buster would do better if I slowed the flow of my filter down a bit. So I took a ziplock snack bag, put some marbles in it with a bit of water and taped it to the filter over the outflow. NOW, he wiggles his way behind the bag and shoots down the flow like he is on some roller-coaster ride. I guess it keeps him active! Do I have the only weird Betta?
Nope, Haze would do that as well, he would get into the space where the water shoots down really fast in the back, and it would push him to the ground. Then he'd swim back up and do it again! It's pretty funny :P
I have my internal filter outflow facing the side wall so there isn't flow all throughout the tank. Mine loves to put his face towards the current and swim in it. I guess it's his little exercise for the day.
