How do I kno when Redsnow is asleep?

Im very curious about this. It it when hes laying a the bottom of the tank, not moving his clear fins or gils that much? Or is it when hes at the top each morning? I couldn't find much info on the net about this. Thanks.

When he's moving absolutely still...his fins shouldn't move, but he should be breathing. He should also be resting directly on something, I haven't seen my bettas sleep in mid-water. Stare for a while and see if they move. If not, I guess theyre asleep.
