I'm a new betta owner and my baby lava who is red looks like his tail is getting shorther . When i brought him he had a hole and now it's gone with some of his tail. I will post pictures later

Welcome to the wonderful world of bettas.....
I have a few questions,
How big is the tank, filtration, water temp and how much and how often are the water changes and when was the last one? Any additives used and a pic would be helpful.
