Not sure what is wrong with Matthew =[

As some may or may not know Matthew is a recovering petco betta and had some minor fin rot and his colors are also changing. Well all seems normal with him. He is lively, fast, eats, etc. Well at bath time ( water change lol ) this afternoon i noticed the top of his head looked weird. I took 2 pix, quality is bad, but i think good enough for someone to hopefully tell me what is wrong with him. NONE of his tank plants failed the pant hose test, he had salt in his tank for exactly 10 days and then i stopped b/c i was told more than that can be bad for bettas. He gets 100% water changes twice a week, all water lvls are just fine, etc. So maybe its just me being paranoid, but you never know with bettas =[

Maybe it's just me but I don't see anything weird. Is it raised up and bumpy or fuzzy?? Does it look like his scales fell off?

Sorry but it's hard to tell in the pictures without knowing what he looked like before. Is he just coloring up?

nope none of that going on, just like completely polar opposite and darker colors than the rest of his body

I looked and I can't tell if there's anything to worry about. It might just be color. As long as he's not wounded (wounds show as white) and it's not fuzzy, just keep an eye on it, ya know?
