Just setup my fist 10 gallon betta tank :)

It's really not too pretty right now, but I am sure it'll look better as time goes on. I have one question though. My heater hasn't arrived yet and I would like to start cycling my tank by tomorrow. So my question is will my beneficial bacteria colony still grow without a heater? Or will they die off when the temperature dips slowing down any progress on my cycle?

PS I just noticed that I spelled first wrong haha.

I think your cycle will be fine without the heater for a little while.

Nice tank. If it's for a betta, I'd get a hiding spot or two.

Thanks, it's not too much to look at right now haha. I think I am going to try my hand at live plants....we'll see how that goes. Yeah, I'll probably get a terracotta pot or something before I go out and buy a fish.

Try adding some more plants, it'll look so pretty inside. :)
