So while I was making up Frankie's new home and after putting him in I wanted to get some pictures of him. I think he's pretty lovely.
He belongs to my 8 year old half sister who recently moved into my apt building (with our mother and other siblings). It was nice to have them back around but when I saw Frankie's conditions I had to research and get something done about it! So finally he got put into a bigger tank and was are getting him a heater ASAP and I want to get more plants (maybe eventually some live if I can) for him. But for now its better and he's much happier and active.

Thanks! I just went upstairs to visit him and his color already looks even more vibrant and I guess I woke him up (he was resting down by the bottom) and he started swimming around, following my hand and such. I haven't normally dealt with fish with personality!

Wow, that's a HUGE change in tank sizes! Good for you! :)

I would have tried to get him in a 5 gallon! But for them cost was an issue. But I think the 2.5 is a good amount of space for him, he isn't overwhelmed but its still a LOT of space.

Yup, my Chance is in a 2.5 gallon and it's perfect for him! I bet Frankie is happy to be in his new home :D
