Hornwart & Duckweed?

I just completed my order and sent it to my betta breeder for the blue dragon hm female (eeeeeeeee!) , and he said he would throw in some hornwart for $5 and duckweed for free. I said yes, just for the heck of it, because my bettas need real plants anyway.

So I'm just wondering, how many of you keep hornwart with your bettas? Do they like it?
And I know Duckweed grows really fast... Honestly I don't know what I'm gonna do with it all. Do your bettas like duckweed, too?

Duckweed's great...hornwort can be temperamental. But they are both great plants that bettas seem to like a great deal.

Hornwart looks nice but spreads like a weed, so i stay away from it. Would love to know how ya like the duckweed as i have always wanted some.

Had hornwort for a while, it started to grow like crazy then started melting. I have no clue why... hated it after a bit. Made my tank look like crap and so messy. I now have an assortment of different plants and they are MUCH better!

No clue about duckweed except that if you are throwing any away you MUST put it in a plastic bag before you put it in the trash! It will grow and grow and grow anywhere!

Hence the "weed" part of the moniker!
