Do you think King will be happy?

Seeing as how my female sorority didn't work out and I have none of them left. I took the 10 gallon they were in and cleaned it up. I am going to put King in it. King is the one in my avatar. He is a Petco "King" Betta. He is in 2.5 gallons right now. I will get pictures soon. I am letting the tank settle as well. Also, I am going to get more plants, my LFS had to order more plants. And here is what I done:

Seachem Flourite
Three Pieces of Driftwood
Three Live Plants (Java Fern, Small Amazon Sword, and a Crypt)
One Tiny Flower Pot (No hole)
One Medium Flower Pot (Hole sealed with aquarium silicone)

So what do you think?


P.S. Quick questions:
How many shrimp could I have?
Can I have some cories as well?
Any sort of fish?
I don't know if this will help, but...King is a sweetheart. He wouldn't hurt another fish, unless they are equal to his size or bigger than him. By the way he is about 3 to 4 inches.

I like the sounds of that... but make sure that there are no sharp edges so your fishes fins dont tear... as for shrimp I am not entirely sure, but from what I've heard a couple are nice to have - but bettas sometimes dont like them (which will lead to killing them). But the shrimp are totally optional. Good luck and have fuN! :D

3 ghost shrimp, or other shrimp of their size should be just fine in your 10 gallon filtered tank.

I wouldn't recommend going over 3 in a 10 gallon.

I had alot of critters in my 10 gallon tank, but I upgraded to a 28 quickly.
