Hi New Here

OK, I've had Neptune for almost 8 months now. He's in a 2.5 gallon tank with no filter, but a heater that is at a constant 78 degrees.

Saturday I went to my local arts & crafts store and got a 1 gallon vase, wen to Petco and got a spunky female, a small heater and pH test kit and two live plants.

My new female is perky as ever. Her water temp is about 80 - 82 degrees. I have her in the kitchen next to the sink in her vase. There is substrate with some live plants planted and some floating. She eats a lot, except she hates pea. I did feed her some raw chicken which she gobbled up as did my boy Neptune. I dont' feed raw meat every day. Just feed them frozen brine shrimp and betta pellets and freezedried worms. I fast my boy every friday and I will do the same with my new girl. I don't know what to name her yet.

Anyways I hope to learn a lot on this board about bettas.
