Help.

I found Rhys just laying on the bottom of the tank not moving much. When I went to net him out he didn't even attempt to move away. I put him in a little container with low water since he wasn't swimming much. It has about .5-1" of water and he hasn't actually swum up to get air. He's laying on top of his head/side and is breathing really hard. :/

What could it be?
He was fine yesterday. Swimming normally. He ate his 3 pellets. Nothing has been changed in his tank.

Bloated? Like swollen really bad? Is it making his scales stick up? Can you take a pic?

I can't see any pineconing.
I'm using the net to keep him up towars the top of the water. He is in water, but it was how I had the net that he was out of the water for a second.

Me too. :(
I took the cup out and lowered the water even more, put in his favorite plant to lay on and covered the cup up so it's dark.

Well, dropsy is usually fatal so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.
