Two Unplanned Rescues!

So I went to WalMart tonight to buy some new makeup, and went to look at the poor fishies, convincing myself that no matter what I wasn't going to buy anything! This particular walmart usually only has a small number of bettas, and they're usually pretty healthy... Well today they had about 30ish bettas *sigh* Most of them looked pretty good, but there were 2 that I just couldn't leave there! Right now there in 1/2 gallon critter keepers (I wasn't planning on bringing anything home) so I need to get my old tanks out of the basement tomorrow!

This is Avalanche. As you can see he's missing most of his tail. He has a nasty case of fin rot, most of his tail was lying on the bottom of his cup. My guess is ammonia burns that turned to rot

This is Fleet. He was the only betta not in a cup, instead he was in a tank with a bunch of Tetras :( His left eye is very clouded, Im pretty sure he's blind in it, poor guy.

They're beautiful, even Avalanche with half a tail. The poor things! I'm glad you saved them!
