Water changes

I have a three gallon tank and was just wondering if I cleaned it enough. I do about 25% water changes every other day. And tomarrow I will be doing a 100% water change so I clean the gravel, and reajust some plants.
Also just got a nice 2.5 gallon tank for $5 with rocks and little cave. Really happy to find that haha how often will I need to change the water? It's still empty but hoping to fill that this week.

In the three gallon 25% every other day sounds okay to me. As long as your water parameters are at good levels you'll be good.Though when you clean the tank 100% I would advise against completely cleaning the gravel as this will kill off any good bacteria you have as well. As an alternative, you could vacuum it once a week. With the 2.5 gallon you can do the same amount of water changes as the 3 gallon so long as your water quality is good.
