Raymond and his lady

Raymond and his little lady,Honey, are being conditioned for breeding =D so i put them into separate jars with almond leaf water conditioner, and bloodworms =D

They are both double ray crowntails.
Ray is just red and Honey is a red Cambodian.

Thanks ^^' a few of his rays at the top are curled though, im not sure if thats good or bad o-o

Generally not good.. usually related to the hardness of the water. Get him some IAL. :)

i tried that, he had it since i got him from my local petstore, and it just didnt seem to go away, maybe its genetic?

If I recall right, sometimes the curled fins are genetic. Usually they aren't though.

He is very stunning.

They're both beautiful! Curled fins are usually caused by being in the small cups for a long period of time, hard water or high levels of ammonia in the tank.

Hmm- well the small store jars might be the problem in my opinion, ive had him for a week or so ^-^
