Food help

I just got back from my trip and I decided to feed my betta extra food but i gave him to much food and now there are flakes all over his cage. I was wondering if this is dangerous for him.

Take out the excess food. You don't want him to be bloated!

The extra food will contribute to the ammonia levels in the tank. If you're able, you should remove them. By hand, siphon, net, etc.

Do a water change if you're not able to scoop it out, or get a turkey baster to suck it out. Its important to remove all the flakes because as previously mentioned it will contribute to ammonia levels and hurt your fish! =)

If it's a small tank I would just do a 10% water change.

If you have a siphon, use a siphon.

If you have a turkey baster, use a turkey baster.

If you have two hands, use two hands. Haha. But you really should get as MUCH as possible. It will rot over time and that won't be pretty.
