I'm sorry. Hopefully the others will not follow the same path. Sorry for your loss of fishes.

I'm so sorry for the losses ): Maybe someday you'll feel the desire to get another, but until then take it your own way. RIP

Well I went to Walmart today to pick up some things and came home with 3 bettas. 2 males and 1 VERY small female. I was going to get 1 male and the female, but my sister fell in love with the other male. She usually hates fish, but this one "spoke to her". I have my small girl next to Zeus and there is a HUGE size difference.lol Their cups were just disgusting and they colored up right away when I put them in bigger tanks. I'll take pictures tomorrow when they've calmed down (the female was VERY stressed). Her fins are almost all gone and the males fins are a little cut up also.

That's always the case isn't. You feel like you are done with something and then your heart reaches out again. I hate it but love it because you know that you will be a better family for that animal then what they already have. Best of luck with the new ones!

xD It's nice to hear you got more. Sometimes the best way to get over something that was lost is to open your heart to something else. It eases the pain a little bit, and feels good to know you've help THEM out, too.
I hope these guys turn out well (:

Yeah, it made me feel really good because I could barely see them, it was that dirty. The female is still really stressed out so I'm keeping her tank dark for now. The boys are doing great, swimming around. My mom can't believe how small the female is.lol
