Barrett help?

Hey guys, so the new guy Barrett seems off. he doesnt really do anything. hes not eating, all he does is hide in his skull or float ontop of this one plant. Hes in a 2.5gal non heated filterd tank but i -really- dont think thats the problem because Bacardi and Frag are beside him in the same room temperature, non heated tanks and their fine. whats wrong with him?

oh and he has 100% water changes everyother day, his last one was yesturday.

Some fish can be more sensitive to cold than others, have you checked the water temp? Also, how old is he? My older males seem to be more sensitive to cool water than my youngsters......

I would try a 50% water change just to rule out water issues, something could have fallen in the water and if you use dechlorinator...did you use enough???

Sound like you take great care of your bettas.....

It may be that he's still getting used to his new home.

Just that last sentence did not seem to friendly so i stood my ground.
I hope i is only that he is getting used to his home, most my guys adjust the same day or the next day, not 5 days.

I don't think what OFL said was rude at all.. but oh well, moving on.. :)

I personally would get him a heater, because some bettas (Particularly young ones) are very very sensitive to water temp. Even just a small hydor mini heater would be fine. Or a tetra heater. You can get those for like 12-14 bucks for a heater.
