Didn't Know Where To Put This

It's a concern but not an emergency... yet....
I just got a betta fish
I also have 3 cats. (adorable little beasts)
Anyway I'm sure you have figured it out
Only one of them has taken to sitting on the arm of the love seat staring at my fish with a look of *suuuuuuushiiiiiii yuuuuuummmmyyyy*. I have school so I can't chase him off during the day.
I could probably put him up higher but he's so pretty on the mantel.
I think it's the movement that attracts the cat so right now i have some cloth covering the sides of the tank. At least until Elvis forgets about the fact there's a fish in the house. Does anyone else have cats and a fish? Tips? Hints?

Weeeellll.. As long as your bettas tank is covered and in a sturdy container on a sturdy structure I wouldn't worry so much.
I actually bought a tank full of guppies for the reason my cat is an indoor cat and I thought she'd like the distraction. She enjoys sitting there watching them swim around. As for my bettas she's able to sit next to two of the tanks and has made herself a new favorite spot beside one of them.

As long as the fish doesn't appear to be stressed and the cat is unable to reach inside, or knock the tank off the table I would think it's a nice thing for your cats to enjoy.

Some people let their cats drink out of the tank. Eeeuuwww! I would think this would be bad for the cat AND fish!
