I feed mine 7 small pellets a day. 4 in the morning and 3 at night. He's getting so big it's ridiculous.lol I've been playing around with how much to feed him and he hasn't bloated with 7 pellets, so I'm good. :)

I really want a king. Now that I lost Fish I could put a king in the 5 gallons that Fish had. I would feel bad about putting one in anything smaller. I doubt they'll have any at the show however and I don't have a Petco near me :(

Yeah, I had Zeus in a 2.5G when I first got him and it was eating at me that I had to get a 5G for him. He's doing so much better and they're a lot faster because they have smaller fins so he zooms around everywhere.lol That stinks that there isn't a Petco near you. If I knew how to ship fish, I'd get one for you and ship it. :)

yeah, I think i'd either adopt him out, or I'd get a 5g critter keeper for him or something. :)

Gorgeous betta! Are you positive its a male? The ventrals and anal seem more female. But I could be wrong :) I hope she emails you back!! $30 is ridiculous IMO
