I feed mine pellets, freeze dried bloodworms, daphnia and brine shrimp. The pellet brands I use are Wardleys, Hikari betta bio gold and Aqueon. Freeze dried foods need to be rehydrated before feeding.

Let's see...of course betta pellets, frozen brine shrimp, beef heart, and bloodworms, and live tubifex worms. IMO, variety is important. Careful not to overfeed... I learned here that their stomachs are about the same size as their eyeball! Pellets are Hikari brand. Frozen food is San Francisco Bay brand. Live worms are produced by...Mr. and Mrs. Worm?
