OK. I Am Officially Obsessed.

When I first heard about bettas it was a natural reaction to be attracted to the fabulous fins of the males but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine being hooked on the females. I am obsessed. I bought another two today and I'm already wanting to get another. I'm not sure what females they are but i'm sure you guys will tell me when I post pics later =)

Can't wait to see pictures! I too have fallen in love with the females, the other day I had to force myself to put down a little white female with blue and purple marbling. She was so pretty, but my sorority was still a little chaotic at the time and I didn't know if adding another female would make it worse. Out of curiosity, where do you buy your females?

haha!! The girls are SO much fun!!!!!!

Darkangel216: A sixth girl might actually help smooth things out with your girls. Most people recommend six actually. :)

I've gotten two of my females at Petco, one a petsmart, and one (soon to be two!) from other members here. :D

I got my bettas from a local store called Zoah's Ark lol. I'm too sceptical about buying them online because I have the worst luck so they would likely turn up lifeless. I have even got my mother hooked on them, she picked out all my 4 females and I instantly fell in love with them =) I am definately going to add more but not just yet, I want them to settle in before I add more chaos to the tank lol. I feel like a kid whos got a shiny new toy, lmao

If that's the case I may go back and see if the one I liked is still there, though she's probably gone by now. Thanks for the info doggyhog! :)
