The addiction continues!

So I couldnt help it. I have a Marina betta cube just sitting there....empty. It was Sushi's first home. I hate seeing it sit there so, I decided to give it a new occupant. I know, I know... 1/2 gal is too small. I do partial changes every other day and full twice a week. This is my first double tail, and he is gorgeous. Pics will be here once I get him in his home.

though I do agree that a 1/2 gallon is small. If you can keep it clean and warm and the betta happy and healthy then thats what matters. I can't wait to see pictures!!

I'd just do a full water change every other day. Partial seems like more work, lol. Plus it'd always be nice clean water.

It's up to you though.

Congrats on your new guy. Looking forward to pictures.

So here he is! I dont have a name yet...still working on that. First off, his temporary home.
Then, my new boy! In the last pic, I managed to snap what looks like a lump on his size. He has it on both sides...is that normal? I must have overlooked it at Petco.

I think the 'lump' is the bit next to his tail. It's not a lump as such; it's hust his body :)

Wow! He's gorgeous!! LOVE himmm! IMO I would clean the 1/2G 100% every day. Ammonia builds up very fast in smaller tanks.
