Exclamation My Crowntail isnt making a bubblenest why?
I just bought a Crowntail Betta today, few hours ago, i heard some males keep the eggs in their throat???
Really new at this lol, help!

The betta you have is a bubblenester. The ones that keep the eggs like that are called Mouth Brooders, which is mostly the wild types.

Hes trying i think but they just keep popping actually, hes right next to the filter lol, should i set something up?

lol. If he builds one, it's going to happen on his own schedule. Nothing you can really do except try to eliminate water movement on the surface and try to make him happy and comfy!

Are you planning on breeding him? It's only really necessary for him to a build bubblenest if your planning on breeding him
