Week Later Baby Betta

I posted a week or so ago with some photos of Sushi.

I tried to get some better ones to help determine gender.

Today I noticed a bubble nest. It's not disorganized in my opinion...maybe a little jank because of the filter flow.

I also tried to get him/her to flare and noticed a small beard and aggression when seeing another betta.

That being said, I have seen an egg spot.

Any more guesses? Thanks! :)

If you are seeing an egg spot then it is definitely a girl. Some females can be as aggressive as males, I have had a few myself. Females also have beards too they just do not extend out as much as a males' do. Some females have also been known to build their own bubble nests, and I have had one that would also drop her eggs and care for them for a couple of days before she would give up. Hope this helps!

Actually, young males can also show egg spots so that's not always the best way to tell if its a male or female.
But to me it looks like a female though im not very good at this.
