Confused and Worried

She looks fine, no bloating or stripes. She was much better this morning, back to her old self. I shut the light off last night and changed the water. I did see some little poop this morning when I checked on her. Maybe she was constipated. I do use drops because of the tap water to de-clorinate. Here in RI I found a great pet store and the lady that owns it is very knowledgable on Betta Fish and she recommended the product. Hopefully she was just constipated. Thankd for your help and advice and I am going to keep a close eye on her.

I'm not going to argue the benefits of cycling a tiny tank because it would obviously go no where.

Loisp27.. I'm glad to hear she's doing better, she was probably just constipated. I would lay off her food for a day then feed her some blanched de-shelled pea the next day to make sure she's cleaned out.

Thanks for the advice. Do I chop the peas very small?

No, just take the shells off (like if you squeeze a pea and the stuff in the middle comes out and your left with kind of a "skin"... thats the shell). Once you take that off just feed it to her in bite sized pieces (about the size of her pellets).
