Should I vacuum while cycling?

Simple question- should I use a gravel vac and scrub algae while the tank is cycling? I have just a little bit of growth on the side of the tank that gets the most indirect light, but I know the bacteria grows on the tank walls.

When cycling with fish you need to make the needed water changes for the safety/health of the fish, vacuum at least one time a week and scrub the front and side walls as needed, true that the nitrifying bacteria are sticky and adhere to everything in the tank and in the top layer of substrate, however, most of the bacteria are in the filter media, you want the filter media to look dirty with a good water flow so only give the filter media a good swish/rinse in old tank water with a water change 1-2 times a month or if the water flow slows.
How long have you been cycling and what are your water pram numbers for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH

I've been cycling for about a week, and the parameters are:
0.25 ammonia (I do about a 4 gallon change whenever it's that high, so I'm changing the water at least every other day)
0 Nitrite
0 Nitrate
7.2 pH

Good plan, however, sometimes you have to increase the water changes to about 50% daily during the cycling process to keep the ammonia 0.25ppm and less, depending on bioload and feeding water changes need to be twice a day for the safety of the fish.
At this point you may want to increase to 50% every other day with one vacuum every 7 days
